Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cost Management professional to join our team at oilandgas. As a Part Time Property Surveyor, you will play a key role in delivering better outcomes for our clients, helping our people to realize their potential, and contributing to the creation of a prosperous society.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Administering a variety of contracts in accordance with project objectives and policies, ensuring that projects remain within governance and adopt best practice.
  2. Providing accurate project cost monitoring, forecasting, and reporting to completion in line with budget, and pro-actively monitoring and managing cost variance and contract cash flow.
  3. Collaborating with client and contractor teams to manage the delivery of project deliverables, KPIs, and objectives, including programme performance, cost control, and value engineering.
  4. Managing contract change effectively, ensuring that projects remain within governance and adopt best practice.
  5. Contract Management (NEC3, Option C preferred)

Requirements:

  • Suitably qualified and experienced operating at Cost Management level
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
