Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Proactive Global in Bedford. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling a range of company products using hand and power tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble mechanical and electrical parts in accordance with manufacturing instructions.
- Maintain general cleanliness and tidiness of the production area.
- Report any apparent component shortages to the supervisor.
- Undertake appropriate training from time to time.
- Perform other tasks reasonably requested by management.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in assembly-based work.
- Ability to use hand tools and work from drawings.
- Effective team player who is able and willing to work with and alongside others undertaking similar roles.
- Willingness to undertake training as appropriate to the demands of the role.
- Able to work well under pressure and under own initiative, with a flexible approach to workload.
Working Conditions:
- Hours: 8.00am-4.30pm.
- Rate: £15.00-£16.50 per hour.
- Duration: Long term.
