Welcome to your new role as HSE Manager at Sungrow - EMEA, where you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, customers, and the environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective HSE strategies, policies, and procedures that align with our company's values and goals.
Your ProfileWe are looking for a highly skilled and experienced HSE professional who possesses a strong understanding of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices in the UK. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, as well as identifying and mitigating potential risks to our business and the environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure HSE considerations are integrated into business decisions and operations.
- Provide HSE training and guidance to employees to ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Develop and maintain HSE documentation, including policies, procedures, and reports, to ensure compliance and transparency.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in HSE management, with a strong understanding of UK regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Proficiency in document management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
