As a Barback, you will play a vital role in ensuring our bar operates smoothly and efficiently. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and organizing mise-en-place, such as homemade syrups, fruit waters, infusions, and garnishes for each shift.
  • Assisting Bartenders with the meticulous preparation of ice.
  • Managing fruit orders and maintaining fruit storage.
  • Ensuring the bar, pantry, and cellar fridges are kept in pristine condition.
  • Handling the collection of requisitions for both dry goods and beverages.
  • Supporting floor staff with hot beverage service and resetting tables.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the bar area by following a cleaning checklist.
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • A solid understanding of classic cocktails.
  • A strong desire to develop into a skilled Bartender.
  • A passion for hospitality and a conscientious work ethic.
  • Confidence, professionalism, and an engaging personality.
  • The ability to anticipate the needs of Bartenders, colleagues, and guests.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Clear conversational English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
