Senior Plumbing

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join our esteemed team at Hireo. As a key member of our Heating and Boiler Services department, you will be responsible for managing and executing a broad range of plumbing and heating tasks, ensuring systems are installed, maintained, and serviced to the highest standards.

• Install, maintain, and service boilers, heating systems, and plumbing networks.
• Diagnose and repair faults in plumbing and heating systems.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Oversee junior engineers and provide mentorship and guidance.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and provide expert advice.
• Plan and oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are adhered to.

• Proven experience as a Plumbing & Heating Engineer in a senior capacity.
• Comprehensive knowledge of heating and boiler systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Full driving licence.

• Gas Safe registration.
• Experience with renewable heating technologies (e.g., heat pumps, solar thermal systems).
• Familiarity with smart home heating systems.
• Project management certification.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
