Position Overview

This role offers a unique opportunity to become part of a dynamic urology team dedicated to delivering cutting-edge urological care to a diverse population. The Urology department is committed to excellence, managing a substantial volume of outpatient consultations and surgical procedures annually.

Key Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of this position include:

  • Delivering comprehensive care for patients with both acute and chronic urological conditions, including complex cases.
  • Assisting in surgical procedures in the operating room, with varying levels of supervision based on individual surgical skills.
  • Coordinating referrals to other medical specialties as necessary.
  • Conducting outpatient clinics and follow-up appointments.
  • Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to enhance collaborative care.
  • Engaging in administrative tasks relevant to the department.
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to junior medical staff and other healthcare professionals.
  • Contributing to clinical audits and governance initiatives aimed at service enhancement.
  • Participating in the non-resident middle-grade on-call rota.
