Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to become a vital part of our Group IT Team. As Cognita embarks on a transformative IT initiative aimed at enhancing our organization's incident response and detection methodologies, your expertise will be crucial.

This role operates in a hybrid model, requiring two days per week at our head office.

Key Responsibilities

As the Senior Cyber Security Analyst, your primary focus will be on the proactive surveillance and fortification of our technical security framework. Your efforts in automation will optimize incident management processes, while your role as a security Subject Matter Expert (SME) will provide essential insights on various projects, ensuring the integrity of our cloud infrastructure and engaging in proactive threat hunting.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of threat actor methodologies and the Microsoft Security suite, including but not limited to MDC, MDI, MDCA, MDO, and Azure networking.

We are looking for individuals with 3-5 years of experience in an incident response or Security Operations Center (SOC) role, demonstrating a proven ability to integrate Microsoft products with third-party services, develop automated workflows, and produce high-quality technical documentation.
