My client, a leading retail company, is seeking a skilled Cleaning Supervisor to join their team. As a key member of the facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance across various retail sites.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cleaning and maintenance, with experience in supervising a team and managing operational performance. You will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting in the timely and effective completion of all reasonable requests made by your immediate Regional Manager.
  • Undertaking comprehensive cleaning in various premises, including bakery equipment, ovens, restaurant areas, and associated facility structures.
  • Responsible for operational performance regarding staff under your control.
  • Supervising the team, ensuring adherence to the company's HR policies, health and safety policies, and applicable Safe Systems of Work.
  • Motivating, training, and developing a flexible team that provides the highest standard of service to our customers while minimizing non-productive time.
  • Accurately recording and timely referring timesheets to the head office.
  • Liaising with store managers and staff to help develop and maintain excellent working customer relationships.
  • Occasionally working at locations deemed too far from home, which may result in overnight stays. The company will cover hotel and meal expenses as defined in the expenses policy (currently up to \u00a325 per overnight stay).
  • Completing a weekly roster and providing training and coaching to all staff to ensure they can meet their contract requirements.
  • Seeking advice on retraining or disciplinary action if staff fail to operate by the necessary Safe System of Work or breach health and safety policies.
  • Dealing with customer complaints, referring them to your direct line manager.
  • Liaising with employment agencies and HR and payroll departments.
  • Full driving license with minimal endorsements essential.

This is a permanent role with a salary of \u00a325,875. Working hours are 4 days on and 4 off, 10 hours a day, totaling 40 hours a week.
