Consultant Paediatrician with Special Interest in Neonates

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Consultant Paediatrician with a special interest in Neonates to join our dynamic team at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHSFT.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to consultant daytime service delivery in paediatrics and neonatology at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and satellite clinics.
- Support our consultant delivered acute Paediatric service, including provision of support to the Level 2 Local Neonatal Unit.
- Participate in the 1 in 9 on call Rota, supporting the resident Middle Grade Tier Paediatrician.
- Support the 'neonatal consultant of the week' rota, covering the neonatal unit for ward rounds.
- Entry on GMC Specialist Register with CCT in General Paediatrics (or CCT expected within 6 months of interview).
- MRCPCH or equivalent.
- A wide experience in general paediatrics and neonatology.
- Child protection training and experience.
- Subspecialty interest in neonatology.
- Subspecialty interest in epilepsy.
- Subspecialty experience at tertiary level in area of special interest.
- A research interest in area of special expertise.
- Experience of leadership and management skills.
- Computing and IT skills.
- Experience of clinical audit.
- Highly committed to team work.
- Compassionate and effective communicator.
- Enthusiastic about hands-on, clinical paediatrics.
- Caring and supportive attitude to patients and colleagues.
