Are you looking to start your career as a Heavy Plant Engineer? We have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice to join our team at SMTGB Volvo.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Apprentice Heavy Plant Engineer. As an Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to learn new skills, work with a friendly team, and achieve a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Land-Based Service Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a team to maintain and repair heavy plant equipment
  • Learn new skills and knowledge through a combination of work-based learning and online training
  • Develop your confidence and skills in a supportive and friendly environment
  • Have the opportunity to work on a variety of heavy plant equipment, including Volvo excavators, diggers, and dumpers

Requirements:

  • GCSE grade 4 or above in Maths and English
  • Desirable to have a driving licence, but not essential
