Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a mainstream Primary school. The successful candidate will provide support to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other special educational needs.

About the Role:

  • Provide individualized support to children with ASD and other SEN in a 3-form entry Primary school
  • Work collaboratively with the SEN team to develop and implement personalized learning plans
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery, adapting materials to meet the needs of children with SEN
  • Support the class teacher in maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Participate in training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in supporting children with SEN

Requirements:

  • Essential experience working with children with ASD and other SEN
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced school environment
