Job Description

Kenton Black Ltd is seeking a skilled Gas Engineer to perform various service and maintenance tasks in social housing properties across the Midlands region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out heating maintenance works to ensure the efficient operation of domestic gas appliances.
  • Perform servicing on domestic gas appliances to ensure they are functioning safely and efficiently.
  • Respond to breakdown repair works in a timely and professional manner.
  • Produce certification as required for completed works.

Benefits:

  • A competitive salary of £36,000 - £38,000 per annum.
  • Out-of-hours rota paid at time and a half plus standby charges.
  • A company vehicle and fuel card supplied for business use.
  • Overtime opportunities to enhance earnings.
  • Increasing annual leave days with time served.

Requirements:

  • Full domestic ACS certification, including CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1, and MET1.
  • Relevant service and maintenance experience in the gas industry.
  • Good knowledge of various gas appliances and their maintenance requirements.
  • Experience working in social housing environments.
  • A full UK driving license.
