Job Title: Mechanical Fitter/Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter/Field Service Engineer to join our team at Options For Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the assembly, build, and testing of packaging machinery in our workshop.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and install sub-assemblies on new machine frames
  • Install pneumatic systems
  • Set up and run customer products prior to on-site commissioning

Our client is a rapidly growing business based in Bristol, with a strong presence in the UK, Europe, and the US. They specialize in carton, sleeving, and flexible packaging machinery installations.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need relevant mechanical engineering skills, such as an apprenticeship or qualification, and/or previous experience in assembly, build, and mechanical engineering work. You must be able to work independently and problem-solve effectively.
