We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Renewable Energy Lawyer to join our team at FIELD. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth and development of our renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities- Land Acquisition and Due Diligence: You will be responsible for negotiating and completing greenfield battery storage options to lease and purchase, as well as undertaking land due diligence, including title searches and CPSEs.
- Contract Negotiation and Management: You will draft and negotiate easements, wayleaves, grid disturbance agreements, and licenses, as well as supporting the acquisition process by leading legal due diligence.
- Real Estate Expertise: You will maintain a best-in-class suite of land templates and playbooks, and provide expert advice on real estate matters related to our renewable energy projects.
- Support to Acquisition Team: You will work closely with our acquisition team to support the growth and development of our renewable energy projects, including leading legal due diligence and providing expert advice on real estate matters.
- Experience: You will have at least 2 years' PQE in a nationally recognized law firm's renewables real estate team or in-house at a renewables developer.
- Skills: You will have experience of negotiating options to lease in England and Wales for renewables developers, as well as experience of working on acquisition support, including legal due diligence.
- Qualifications: You will be dual qualified, with experience of negotiating renewable land deals in Scotland.
- Competitive Salary: £87,000 - £97,000 per annum.
- Benefits Package: We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including enhanced parental leave, a company-wide bonus scheme, hybrid working, and a range of other benefits.
