Position Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Operations Supervisor to become a vital part of our team at Culina Group. In this role, you will oversee the warehouse personnel and assist the Shift Managers in fulfilling both safety and operational standards.
Work Schedule: 4 on 4 off Days (06:00 - 18:00)
Compensation: £31,900 Annually
As the ideal candidate, your contributions will be essential to the success of our operations, and you will report directly to the site Shift Manager.
Key Responsibilities of the Warehouse Operations Supervisor include:
- Support the Shift Manager in executing warehouse operations and addressing any operational challenges that arise.
- Organize and oversee the daily activities and responsibilities of the warehouse staff.
- Ensure the timely and efficient completion of all warehouse tasks.
- Manage disciplinary, grievance, and absence management cases within your shift.
- Facilitate communication briefings to ensure all team members are informed and updated.
- Uphold compliance with the Company's Health & Safety policies through effective work systems, cleanliness, and by providing necessary training to the warehouse team for enhanced safety awareness.
- Assist team members in achieving performance targets and address any underperformance issues.
- Maintain accurate records of team and individual performance, advising the Shift Manager of any operational disruptions that cannot be resolved at the team level.
- Aid in organizing training and development initiatives for warehouse staff, including on-the-job coaching.
- Collaborate with the Shift Manager to manage planned and unplanned absences, ensuring adequate coverage and addressing unacceptable absence levels.
Required Qualifications
To excel as a Warehouse Operations Supervisor, you should possess the following skills, experience, and qualifications:
- Proven experience in various warehouse roles, including operating MHE and managing personnel.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
- Comprehensive knowledge of warehouse systems.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
- Successful track record of meeting challenging deadlines and KPIs.
- Proficient in MS Office at an intermediate level.
- Effective communication skills.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities.
