Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the initiation, feasibility studies, and business case development.
- Define and maintain a comprehensive delivery schedule, ensuring timely execution of design, development, testing, and implementation phases.
- Projects may involve Internal Transformational initiatives, Regulatory Compliance, and enhancements for Pensions Clients.
Core Duties:
- Assume accountability for the successful execution of projects within defined scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and uphold robust project management processes and documentation, ensuring consistency across the portfolio.
- Lead the project team, driving excellence and ensuring successful project outcomes.
Continuous Improvement:
- Promote a culture of ongoing enhancement by regularly assessing the effectiveness of existing systems and processes, and suggesting improvements.
- Ensure adherence to Quality Management Systems and compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
Risk Management:
- Identify and report risks and breaches promptly to management.
- Advocate for the application of effective change management techniques throughout the organization.
Qualifications:
- Prince 2 or equivalent Project Management certification (APM).
- Minimum of 5 years of proven project management experience in a financial regulatory environment.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with experience in live project implementations and transition planning.
Leadership and Strategic Thinking:
- Demonstrated leadership experience of at least 3 years managing diverse teams.
- Ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders to formulate long-term strategies and develop business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and risk assessments.
Client Focus:
- Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring their needs are prioritized in decision-making processes.
- Deliver accurate reporting on project progress, risks, and financial tracking.
