Job Title: Shift-based Engineering Maintenance Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize safety and quality, ensuring compliance with JDE standards
  • Execute Preventative Maintenance (PM), Autonomous Maintenance (AM), and repair tasks
  • Engage in scheduled maintenance activities
  • Contribute to the site's emergency response and responsible persons teams
  • Collaborate effectively to resolve plant breakdowns and implement enhancements
  • Assist with packing line transitions and propose process optimizations
  • Drive continuous improvement projects
  • Support the implementation of new projects and maintenance of equipment
  • Uphold exceptional housekeeping standards
  • Participate in operational meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions
  • Utilize SAP for managing maintenance data
  • Take initiative in personal development

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a mechanical or electrical apprenticeship
  • Expected to develop multi-skilled competencies
  • Familiarity with relevant technologies and machinery
  • Possession of a Higher National Certificate (HNC) or equivalent engineering qualification
  • Proficient in SAP maintenance systems
  • Knowledgeable about industry standards in Mechanical & Electrical engineering
  • Self-driven, team-oriented, and capable of managing diverse tasks
  • Understanding of PLC and HMI programming is advantageous
