ROLE: Mechanical Design Engineer

Our client, a leading manufacturer of robotic products and solutions, is seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Berkshire. This is a permanent position that offers a competitive salary range of £30,000 - £50,000, dependent on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop robotic products using SolidWorks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product assembly
  • Produce technical drawings and documentation for design and project reports
  • Update 3D models and drawings as required
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar Mechanical / Design Engineering position
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks
  • Degree / HNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar
  • Knowledge of various materials, including sheet metal and injection moulded plastics
  • Good theoretical mechanical engineering knowledge of core principles and tight tolerances
  • Proficient in MS Office
