Project Manager - Anaerobic Digestion & Biomethane

Lanesra Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join their team in the Anaerobic Digestion and Biomethane sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects valued at £25m, with an estimated construction period of 9-12 months.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise construction sites to ensure compliance with program, contract, cost, quality, and SHEQ requirements.
  • Ensure Principal Contractors adhere to CDM regulations, conduct regular site safety walks, and maintain effective site access control.
  • Drive a culture of zero accidents and zero defects, meeting delivery milestones and providing exceptional service.
  • Ensure full H&S compliance, promoting a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Adopt cost-conscious management, utilizing resources efficiently to achieve project goals.
  • Prepare, review, and update realistic scheme programmes, ensuring stakeholders complete work on schedule.
  • Chair site coordination meetings, reviewing compliance with mandatory documentation.
  • Manage collaborative planning meetings and act as the Project Engineer's representative on site.
  • Work with the Technical Manager and Engineering Project Engineers to proactively manage risks and issues.
Requirements:
  • Engineering, project delivery, and construction site experience in energy from waste, anaerobic digestion, biogas, or water/waste treatment projects.
  • Supervisory/management experience in a construction environment.
  • Strong understanding of CDM Regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Qualification in an engineering/construction discipline.
  • SMSTS/SSSTS/CSCS certification.
  • NEBOSH, IOSH certification.
  • Microsoft Project and collaborative planning tools proficiency.
