We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Manager to join our team at St Elizabeth's Centre. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day management of our charity shop in Staple Tye, Harlow.
Key Responsibilities- Deputise for the Retail Manager in their absence, ensuring the smooth operation of the shop and providing excellent customer service.
- Maximise opportunities to generate shop income, working closely with the Retail Manager to achieve sales targets.
- Control and reconcile cash takings and stock, ensuring accurate records and minimising losses.
- Create attractive displays with donated items, adhering to health and safety guidelines and maintaining a high standard of shop presentation.
We are looking for a highly organised and creative individual with excellent communication skills and a professional approach. You will have a good working knowledge of pricing donated items, rotating stock, and increasing turnover. Experience in a retail management role is essential, and you will be able to demonstrate a track record of achieving sales targets and improving customer satisfaction.
