About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our team at VolkerWessels UK. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of projects across our Southern Renewals Enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of projects across three portfolios: Buildings, Structures, and Earthworks & Drainage.
- Report to the Site Agent and ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Develop and implement safe systems of work, ensuring compliance with CDM regulations and relevant health and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams, to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
- Manage and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to project delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience in project management, with a strong background in construction and rail infrastructure projects.
- Excellent technical and project management skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective project plans.
- Strong organizational and management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of CDM regulations and relevant health and safety protocols.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
