About the Role:
Pumpkin Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursery Deputy Manager to join our team. As a key member of our nursery management team, you will be responsible for supporting the Nursery Manager in leading the team and ensuring the highest standards of care and education for children aged 0-5 years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in leading the team and supporting in EYFS planning and encouraging a reflective practice.
- Ensure children's observations, assessment, and development records are maintained.
- Assist in managing marketing activities, such as open days and promotions.
- Support the Nursery Manager in leading responsibility for Safeguarding and Health & Safety, ensuring all staff follow policy and procedures.
- Promote diversity and equal opportunities.
- Work in partnership with parents to form caring and trusting relationships.
- Ensure professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
- Lead by example, working in a flexible manner and promoting high standards of care and education.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children aged 0-5 years.
- Either a NVQ, CACHE, BTEC level 3 qualification in childcare and early years education or a BA degree in early years education from a UK or overseas university.
- Passion for working with children.
What We Offer:
- Starting salary: £35,000- £45,000pa.
