Role Summary:
The ideal candidate will be tasked with ensuring precise setting out for various civil engineering undertakings, encompassing roadworks, drainage systems, foundational work, and utility installations.

This position demands exceptional attention to detail, robust technical capabilities, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.


Key Duties:
  • Execute precise setting out and surveying for diverse civil engineering projects.
  • Analyze and utilize engineering drawings and specifications effectively.
  • Guarantee compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and health and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and team members to facilitate seamless project execution.
  • Maintain detailed records of work completed and materials utilized.
  • Support the coordination and oversight of subcontractors on-site.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in a setting out capacity within civil engineering.
  • Proficient in operating surveying tools such as total stations, GPS, and laser levels.
  • Strong comprehension of construction drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Valid CSCS card and a full UK driving license.
