About the Role
Nationwide Building Society is seeking a highly skilled Senior Brand Manager to lead the evolution of our brand identity and ensure its consistent application across all touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the ongoing development of the Nationwide brand look and feel, working closely with our brand and advertising agency, New Commercial Arts.
- Lead a design team responsible for creating assets across various marketing and owned channels.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders across Customer, Brand & Engagement, and the wider business to embed our brand design vision and principles.
- Act as the brand guardian, providing support and creative solutions to design challenges across the organization.
- Manage design quality checking and ensure the brand's rulebooks are up-to-date and implemented across the organization.
- Embed design thinking, experimentation, and continuous improvement within the team to ensure design decisions align with our Blueprint and brand objectives.
Requirements
- Strong design background, creative, design production, or agency experience.
- Knowledge of current Adobe Suite applications (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Collaborative ethos, including senior stakeholder management.
- Strong knowledge and interest in best-in-class design.
- Ability to consult effectively with designers and non-designers on projects.
- Project management experience.
