Reporting Structure:
Site Maintenance Manager

Work Schedule:

This role follows a continental shift pattern (4 on, 4 off) with 12-hour shifts, alternating between day and night shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Your primary responsibility will be to deliver a safe, high-quality, and cost-effective maintenance service for site assets, encompassing preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance to meet Factory Key Performance Indicators, targets, and budgets.

You will provide technical assistance to operational teams, technicians, and management, ensuring maintenance activities, routines, and procedures are accurate, effective, and completed on time.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing production targets and priorities to optimize line performance with minimal waste.
  • Acting as a liaison between Operations and Engineering.
  • Supporting site contractor activities by issuing permits and reviewing risk assessments and method statements.
  • Coordinating contractor activities and contracts, including issuing permits.
  • Coaching and mentoring the Manufacturing Technician group to enhance their technical skills.
  • Participating in site projects and change initiatives as required.
  • Conducting data analysis and diagnostics to identify and address root cause issues.

Essential qualifications include:

  • Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance skills.
  • Experience in a production environment.
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent engineering apprenticeship with proven hands-on experience.
  • Proficiency in computer applications (e.g., Word, Excel).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) or high-volume continuous production setting.
  • Experience in leading and coaching teams.
  • Familiarity with PLC systems, particularly Allen Bradley and/or Siemens.
  • Knowledge of CMMS and SCADA systems, with further training provided by PepsiCo.
