Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Appraisal: Evaluate project documentation to determine the project brief and scope of works.
  • Project Strategy: Develop an effective project delivery strategy and project team deliverables.
  • Pre-Construction Leadership: Lead the pre-construction efforts, collaborating with the design team, estimating department, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive project proposals.
  • Value Engineering: Identify value engineering alternatives to benefit project delivery and cost.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with project delivery and provide solutions to address them.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with external consultants to ensure compliance with project requirements and relevant regulations.
  • Deliverable Review: Review developed deliverables by project team to ensure they meet project requirements.
  • Client Communication: Host client project meetings to ensure client project requirements are being met.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the pre-construction department coordinators and BIM teams to develop required documentation.
Requirements:
  • Education: A relevant third-level education.
  • Experience: Strong building services background with minimum 5 years' experience in mechanical or contract management.
  • Skills: Competent understanding of mechanical systems, multi-disciplinary design processes, and design coordination. Excellent leadership and communication skills, and previous experience in managing a team.
