Practitioner Psychologist Opportunity in Prison Healthcare

Compass Associates is collaborating with a leading provider of specialist healthcare services in the UK to recruit a Practitioner Psychologist for a well-established multidisciplinary team in a prison service in Southeast London.

You will work closely with the Mental Health and Psychology Leads, conducting psychological assessments and interventions for complex cases, as well as delivering training and supervision to staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and interventions for patients with complex mental health needs
  • Deliver training and supervision to staff on mental health and psychology-related topics
  • Work collaboratively with the Mental Health and Psychology Leads to develop and implement mental health services

Requirements:

  • HCPC Registration as a Practitioner Psychologist - Clinical, Counselling, or Forensic
  • Experience working in a prison or secure environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
