Press Brake Setter Operator Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Press Brake Setter Operator to join our client in South Leicester.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate press brake machines to produce high-quality metal components to precise specifications.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Adjust machine settings for different materials and thicknesses.
  • Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, adjusting as needed.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Press Brake Setter Operator.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Familiarity with machine maintenance and safety protocols.

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate of £14.00 - £17.00 (depending on shift pattern & previous experience) + overtime paid at time and one half over 40 hours & Saturday mornings.
  • 40 hours per week with temp to perm opportunities for successful candidates after 13 weeks agency worker service.
  • Multiple opportunities and shifts patterns available; Days = 8am – 4:30pm Monday to Friday; Nights = 4:30pm – 3am Monday to Thursday (4 nights).
