Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Practice Accountant to join our team at Artemis Clarke Ltd. As a Practice Accountant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality accounting services to our clients, including preparation of accounts and tax returns, financial analysis, and advisory services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of financial statements and tax returns for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
  • Financial analysis and interpretation to add value for clients
  • Assisting with commercial, financial, and tax advisory projects
  • Preparation and use of budgets, cash flows, and management accounts
  • Provision of software support to clients
  • Maintaining technical knowledge in all relevant areas

Requirements:

  • Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/AAT)
  • Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience
  • Cloud-based accounting experience desirable
  • An inquiring analytical mind and ability to work under own initiative
  • Confidence to communicate effectively with clients and the team
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
