Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Ecommerce Product Specialist to join our team. As an Ecommerce Product Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the end-to-end briefing and creation of all website product and content for our e-commerce platform and mobile app.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Merchandising: Merchandise the online product and supporting content, ensuring products are effectively categorized and visually merchandised to maximize sell-through.
- Product Details and Content: Check associated product details, prices, and supporting content in line with marketing and merchandising plans.
- Content Briefing: Support the briefing of online content to creative and web development teams and subsequent checking prior to launch.
- Team Support: Support the Ecommerce Merchandising Manager and Ecommerce Merchandising Assistant in their roles.
- App Content and Category Merchandising: Assist with app content and category merchandising.
- Trading Zone Optimization: Support the optimization of key trading zones on site and in the app.
- Competitor Analysis: Monitor competitor activity and provide resulting recommendations to improve website content, merchandising, and outbound digital marketing communications.
- Reactive Trading Plans: Assist with implementing reactive trading plans across the website and app, aligning with the digital marketing team.
- Team Training and Support: Train, support, and oversee the Ecommerce Merchandise Assistant to deliver.
- Ecommerce Administration: Perform ecommerce administration tasks.
- Product and Category Updates: Liaise with the digital team to maintain product and category updates required to support the website SEO strategy.
- Email Communications: Support product selections for email communications.
- Content Engagement: Monitor the performance of website content zone interaction and identify opportunities to increase content engagement.
- Range and Product Sign Off: Attend range and product sign-off meetings with buying and merchandise teams.
- Trading Calendar Planning: Support the Ecommerce Merchandising Manager to plan the UK and app trading calendar.
- Trade Performance Reporting: Report on weekly trade performance and liaise with stock merchandise teams to propose content for the site.
