Job Summary
The Stock Associate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse and stockroom, guaranteeing that merchandise is properly received, stored, and inventoried. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process merchandise, verifying quantities and quality
- Record stock movements and inventory levels in the warehouse management system
- Guarantee that merchandise is stored in accordance with company guidelines, tidy and easily accessible
- Monitor warehouse space and adjust inventory levels as needed
- Organize transfers between stores and manage returns to vendor
- Collaborate with the inventory control office to execute stock inventory and reduce stock losses
- Perform administrative tasks, including preparing merchandise re-tagging and maintaining CITES documentation
Requirements
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift and move merchandise as needed
