Position Overview
Join Hernshead Recruitment Ltd, a leading firm in the power generation sector, where our team of Control System specialists is committed to delivering exceptional services, including generator control enhancements, comprehensive system integration, fuel and pump management, as well as load management solutions.
Our state-of-the-art workshop is equipped to fabricate a diverse range of bespoke panels, from low voltage PLC control systems to Motor Control Centers, ensuring high-quality outputs tailored to client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and wire control systems in accordance with provided wiring schematics.
- Examine and verify panel wiring schematics for accuracy.
- Confirm that ordered components correspond with control panel wiring schematics.
- Assemble and wire the control panel based on the wiring schematics.
- Collaborate with the design team to implement necessary adjustments and enhancements.
- Conduct dead tests and functional tests on the control panel in line with the wiring schematics.
- Create and maintain documentation for control panels.
- Prepare control panels for dispatch.
- Mentor and develop team members to foster personal growth and succession planning through talent management strategies.
- Ensure successful project delivery within the established business forecasts and budgetary constraints.
- Comprehensive knowledge of integrated mechanical and electrical systems.
- Awareness of relevant British Standards, Building Regulations, HSE requirements, CIBSE statutory bodies, and other pertinent documentation/regulations associated with design, procurement, and construction processes.
- Expertise in all facets of the construction process.
- Previous experience with Control Panels and Gauge Cables is essential.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics effectively.
- A proven history of success in the industry is required.
- Self-driven with a strong desire to learn, demonstrating a proactive attitude and a robust work ethic to deliver outstanding quality.
- Exhibit a collaborative approach, engaging flexibly with both internal and external stakeholders as well as the project team.
- Practical and logical, consistently demonstrating a sense of ownership.
- Show a persistent effort in overcoming challenges to achieve objectives.
- Communicate precise information effectively using appropriate methods tailored to the audience, ensuring clarity and understanding.
