Job Summary:
Consortium Professional Recruitment is seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join our client's team in supporting the day-to-day operations of their plant assets. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and breakdown activities, collaborating with supervisors, engineers, and other technicians to address plant issues, managing permit requests, and ensuring the safety and efficiency of the plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on instrumentation and control systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve plant issues
- Manage permit requests and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Conduct safety inspections and implement safety protocols to prevent accidents
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to optimize plant efficiency
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in instrumentation and control systems
- Strong knowledge of plant operations and maintenance procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
