Culinary Supervisor

In the role of Culinary Supervisor at Runwood Homes, you will have the opportunity to provide hotel/restaurant quality without the burden of split shifts and extended hours. You will enjoy full creative control in crafting nutritious, flavorful, and well-balanced menus, while collaborating with residents to ensure their preferences are reflected in the menu planning. We are in search of warm, motivated, and passionate chefs who are committed to quality and high standards, dedicated to delivering personalized hospitality to our residents. We are looking for a Chef who possesses:

  • A friendly and warm demeanor with a genuine interest in the well-being of residents
  • Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent
  • Experience in leading, motivating, and inspiring a culinary team
  • A solid understanding of nutrition and specialized diets, including texture-modified diets (IDDSI)
  • Experience working with fresh, seasonal produce
  • The ability to cultivate a warm and inviting atmosphere within our care home
  • Confidence in engaging with residents to create appealing and nutritious menus
  • A good grasp of food safety management practices

Key Responsibilities:
