Britvic is seeking a skilled Category Manager to join our Procurement Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of sourcing strategies for Customer Operations and Beyond the Bottle categories.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and executing sourcing strategies for Customer Operations and Beyond the Bottle category activities.
- Leading the Britvic relationship with a selection of Customer Operations and Beyond the Bottle partners.
- Improving supplier performance and driving value over time using SRM tools.
- Being the Procurement Team point of contact and subject matter expert for the Customer Operations and Beyond the Bottle categories.
- Maximizing spend under contract and conducting commercial negotiations/tenders.
- Acting as a point of escalation for resolving supplier performance issues.
- Managing risk and complying with procurement governance processes.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong Category Management experience.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent IT skills across Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Background within either Customer Operations, Facilities Management, Capex or MRO.
- Good general knowledge of FMCG drinks supply chains and equipment NPD processes.
A degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Science or Engineering is desirable but not essential. Strong Procurement Experience, preferably within either Customer Operations or Supply Chain Indirects, is also required.
