The Infrastructure Systems Specialist will play a vital role in the management, administration, and support of services provided by our client's Infrastructure division. The focus will be on both centrally hosted and local servers, facilitating migration to international data centers, and fostering collaboration with teams worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
- Server Management: Administer and support centrally hosted servers that are essential to business operations.
- Service Oversight: Manage services and technologies, including data center infrastructure, server hardware, virtualization, storage solutions, backup systems, and database management.
- Global Collaboration: Partner with the Infrastructure Operations team across different regions to ensure cohesive service delivery.
- System Availability: Maintain the availability of critical business applications by ensuring a robust infrastructure.
- Updates and Lifecycle Management: Conduct regular updates and manage the lifecycle of servers and associated services.
- Project Involvement: Participate in various projects as defined by the Infrastructure Project Team.
- Vulnerability Assessment: Identify and address system vulnerabilities in a timely manner.
- Compliance with Cybersecurity: Ensure adherence to established cybersecurity policies and controls.
- Incident and Change Oversight: Manage incidents and changes in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Troubleshooting: Collaborate with network operations to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
- Standards Implementation: Apply business standards to execute infrastructure initiatives, including documentation and reporting.

Qualifications
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years in a systems administration or related role is essential.
- Server Administration: Proven experience managing critical servers in a large-scale environment is required.
- IT Skills: Proficiency in Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP is essential.
- Windows Server Expertise: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server operating systems is required.
- Remote Desktop Services: Familiarity with Remote Desktop Services and high availability is desirable.
- Virtualization: Experience in building and deploying virtual servers is essential.
- VMware/vSphere: Strong administration skills in VMware/vSphere are required.
- Database Management: Experience with MS SQL or similar database systems is desirable.
- Monitoring Tools: Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Solarwinds is desirable.
- Scripting Skills: Experience in writing and modifying PowerShell scripts is desirable.
- Service Delivery Knowledge: Practical knowledge of IT service delivery frameworks, such as ITIL, is desirable.
