Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is collaborating with an Educational Institution in the Cheltenham area, presenting an opportunity for a Catering Assistant to become part of their team on a temporary to permanent basis.

Benefits:

  • Work schedule: Monday to Friday, no weekends
  • 32.5 hours per week
  • Shifts available from 8 am to 3 pm and 11 am to 6 pm
  • Supportive and friendly work environment

Role Overview:

As a Catering Assistant, you will be essential in creating a positive dining atmosphere for the children at the educational institution. Your primary responsibilities will include setting up the dining area and trolleys for meals throughout the day. You will assist the kitchen by preparing sandwiches, fruits, and vegetables, maintaining records, and adhering to health and safety regulations. Your duties will also involve ensuring cleanliness in the kitchen and contributing to a welcoming dining experience within the school community.

  • Previous experience in catering or hospitality is preferred
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • A proactive and detail-oriented work ethic
  • A valid enhanced DBS certificate is required
  • Food hygiene certification is necessary
