Exciting Opportunity for Experienced Contracts Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Contracts Manager to join a forward-thinking, Main Contractor. The company is well-respected and has a wealth of experience in the office fit-out arena, making them one of the biggest names in the industry.

The role will see you working on a range of office fit-out projects across the country, managing multi-million-pound projects from inception to completion. You will have the chance to work on some of the most exciting projects in the UK, utilizing your commercial fit-out background to further your career.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying, in addition to a proven commercial track-record in a similar environment. You will be proficient in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office, and have a Full UK Driving Licence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce site logistics plans, methodologies, programmes & other documentation
  • Attend tender interviews when required
  • Provide delivery expertise for tenders
  • Advise on timescales to meet required deadlines
  • Advise on buildability and design
  • Request site-based
  • Organise and chair internal handover meetings with all the project team
  • Liaise with H&S manager and ensure that health and safety policies and good practices are enforced
  • Develop and complete the construction programme
  • Manage the project team to ensure that pre-construction activities are completed in accordance with the programme
  • Ensure statutory compliance
Working Arrangements:
  • Based either in the office or on/between sites where appropriate
  • Regular site visits and client meetings are anticipated for projects across the UK
