About Our Trust Tax Team

We're seeking a skilled Tax Compliance Specialist to join our Trust tax team at PKF-Francis Clark Chartered accountants & business advisers. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in providing a first-class tax compliance service to our personal tax clients, including trust and high net worth individuals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of trust cases and high net worth individual clients, providing expert tax advice and guidance.
  • Draft reports and letters on tax planning, residence, domicile, UK trusts, and other relevant topics.
  • Undertake Capital Gains Tax (CGT) advice on property, shares, and other assets, and prepare CGT 60-day reporting for UK residential property.
  • Provide compliance services, including preparing self-assessment tax returns and computations.
  • Deliver Trust and Inheritance Tax (IHT) compliance services, ensuring clients meet regulatory requirements.
  • Request, collate, and maintain client information, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Correspond and deal confidently with client inquiries, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain direct contact with clients, HMRC, solicitors, and other professional services firms, ensuring seamless delivery of our services.

About You

  • Previous experience in a tax compliance role, with a strong background in drafting reports and providing tax advice.
  • ATT or CTA qualified (or equivalent) with up-to-date technical knowledge and a deep understanding of compliance standards.
  • Organized and able to plan time efficiently, meeting deadlines, particularly during the January tax return season.
  • Professional and discreet, with the ability to build rapport quickly with clients and demonstrate exceptional client care.
