Production Manager

Join Jigsaw Business Group as a Production Manager and take on a challenging role that requires strategic planning, organizational skills, and leadership abilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring timely delivery of customer orders, and maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement production systems, processes, and disciplines to optimize resource utilization and meet customer demands.
- Implement industry-leading manufacturing practices, including planning, scheduling, and sequencing, to ensure efficient production and delivery.
- Establish and maintain quality assurance processes and disciplines to ensure exceptional product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Lead, train, and motivate the production team to achieve production goals, improve processes, and resolve problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve planning, processes, and customer satisfaction.
- Manage budgets, costs, and production schedules to ensure compliance with QA and OTIF requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum five years of experience in a similar production management role.
- Proven track record of leading improvement projects in job lot production environments with significant demand.
- Strong emotional intelligence, leadership skills, and change management abilities.
- Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of branch operations and customer service.
- Knowledge of business productivity software and aptitude for learning new applications.
- Deep understanding of production processes and related quality management systems.
- Formal production management qualification or training essential (or equivalent technical qualification).
- Working knowledge of relevant software tools, including MES, MPS, and MRP.
- Strong skills in cost control and experience working on the shop floor.
