Senior Finance Business Partner / Finance Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Business Partner to join our team at Vitae Financial Recruitment. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing financial guidance and support to our clients, helping them to achieve their business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Planning and Analysis: Assist in the preparation of multi-year business plans and annual budgets, ensuring that financial targets are met and exceeded.
  2. Financial Reporting: Provide timely and accurate financial reporting, including KPIs and forecasts, to support business decision-making.
  3. Financial Management: Oversee the financial management of major projects, including margin management, revenue tracking, cost management, and cash management.
  4. Financial Partnerships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, external advisors, and auditors to ensure the integrity of project financials.
  5. Leadership and Team Management: Provide management and support to the development of the wider team, ensuring that they have the skills and resources needed to succeed.

Requirements:

  1. Qualifications: Qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA with post-qualification experience or equivalent.
  2. Experience: Previous experience of both financial control, financial planning, and finance business partnering, ideally with a project accounting environment or similar.
  3. Skills: Comfortable working closely and communicating effectively with finance and non-finance colleagues, with a proactive approach to leading change and influencing ways of working.
