Job Title: Service Design Lead

About the Role:

Photon is seeking a highly skilled Service Design Lead to join our team. As a Service Design Lead, you will be responsible for leading the design of services that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Service Design: Develop and implement service design strategies that align with Photon's business goals.
  2. Team Leadership: Lead a team of designers and researchers to design and deliver services that meet the needs of our customers.
  3. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and marketing, to ensure that services are designed and delivered effectively.
  4. Research and Analysis: Conduct research and analysis to understand customer needs and preferences, and use this information to inform service design decisions.
  5. Communication: Communicate service design strategies and plans to stakeholders, including senior leadership and customers.
  6. Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources to ensure timely delivery.
  7. Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.
  8. Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and implement new ideas and approaches to improve service design.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as design, business, or engineering.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in service design, product management, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Tools and Technologies: Proficient in design tools, such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD, and experience with project management tools, such as Asana or Jira.
