About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and positive Facilities Assistant to join our team at Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a Facilities Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform cleaning duties according to cleaning schedules, agreed practices, and protocols as guided by the supervisory team.
  • Assist with catering duties, including stock management, checking in deliveries, providing food for patients, cleaning, and dealing with waste.
  • Support with portering duties, including the collection and delivery of equipment, post, medical gases, linen, and waste movements.
Requirements
  • Level 1 in IT or equivalent experience/skill.
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
  • Working towards NVQ Level 2 in Cleaning and Support Skills.
