Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a VAT Manager in a dynamic and growing firm, Hays Senior Finance. You will be responsible for providing VAT compliance and advisory services to clients, managing a team, and contributing to business development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the tax partner to provide VAT compliance and advisory services to clients, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of services.
  • Liaise with clients regarding all VAT matters and be their point of contact, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Follow up on live VAT leads and take responsibility for growing and developing the workload and overall team, driving business growth and expansion.
  • Consult on VAT queries and provide expert advice to clients, ensuring they are fully compliant with VAT regulations.

Requirements

  • Strong VAT background with experience working in a similar role within a practice environment, with a deep understanding of VAT laws and regulations.
  • Experience of managing people and willingness to get involved in business development, driving growth and expansion.
  • Desire to work in an accountancy firm, with a passion for delivering exceptional client service.
