Job Opportunity: Vehicle Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Dawsongroup. As a Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of commercial vans and cars.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fault diagnosis and repair of vehicles
  • Carrying out vehicle inspections and MOT checks
  • Ensuring accurate and timely written reports for all maintenance or repair work
  • Reporting defective tools or workshop equipment
  • Maintaining safe working practices at all times

Requirements:

  • City & Guilds or similar qualification in motor vehicle technology
  • Attended a mechanical engineering course
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Good working knowledge of tyres and adherence to industry guidelines
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Clean driving licence (desirable)
