Job Description

**About the Role**

A leading facilities provider is seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a temporary day shift basis. As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for performing all planned and reactive maintenance tasks in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned maintenance tasks, including PPM and reactive maintenance
  • Conduct routine inspections and tests to ensure equipment is functioning correctly
  • Identify and report any defects or issues with equipment or systems
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth operation of facilities
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols and procedures

Requirements:

  • City and Guilds in Mechanical/Plumbing NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • Proven track record in commercial maintenance
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
