Veterinary Facilities Manager

Job Summary:
Harper Adams University is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to fill the role of Veterinary Facilities Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of the Veterinary Education Centre (VEC) and Veterinary Services Centre (VSC) facilities and equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate and provide technical support to veterinary-related courses within the Animal Health, Behaviour and Welfare department, collaborating with colleagues to deliver high-quality teaching and research projects.
2. Manage the day-to-day running of the VEC and VSC, including maintenance, equipment setup, and resource allocation.
3. Provide support to undergraduate and postgraduate taught programmes within the University, ensuring seamless delivery of courses within the VEC and VSC.
Requirements:
1. Degree or equivalent in a clinical animal science or significant experience in delivering veterinary clinical training.
2. Practical experience of working within clinical veterinary practice, with a focus on facility management and equipment operation.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
4. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to manage complex situations and prioritize tasks effectively.
