About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Planning Assistant to join our team at Reward Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our financial services team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our financial planners in delivering exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning Support: Assist financial planners in preparing financial plans, suitability reports, and letters, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and compliant.
  • Cash Flow Modelling: Develop and maintain cash flow models to forecast client financial situations, providing valuable insights to inform financial planning decisions.
  • Documentation and Research: Prepare and collate documentation to support financial planning recommendations, including investments, pensions, and protection products. Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry developments and product offerings.
  • Client Support: Assist with client meetings, taking notes and following up on actions as required, ensuring seamless communication and exceptional client service.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance and streamline financial planning processes, systems, and procedures, driving efficiency and productivity within the team.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Hold the Diploma Level Four qualification (or be close to achieving) and have a strong desire to achieve Chartered and/or Certified financial planner status.
  • Financial Planning Knowledge: Possess a good understanding of the financial planning process and associated compliance aspects, with a focus on pensions and technical financial planning tools.
  • Technical Skills: Be proficient in using financial planning software, financial modelling tools, and back-office systems.
  • Soft Skills: Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage competing priorities.
