Role Overview:
The Senior Project Management Leader is responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of multiple concurrent projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards, timelines, and optimal financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Estimating Department, site teams, and surveyors to guarantee project completion aligns with safety protocols and meets or exceeds client expectations.
- General management duties including:
- Developing financial forecasts and monitoring project expenditures.
- Producing monthly performance reports for the Contracts Manager.
- Manage projects from the design phase through to completion, including all necessary handover documentation.
- Review project progress, resource allocation, and planning.
- Ensure the creation and execution of Project Plans, risk assessments, method statements, and site waste management plans in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain a focus on cost efficiency and challenge existing processes to drive improvements.
- Prepare detailed estimates for additional work beyond initial cost targets.
- Exemplify leadership in promoting Health, Safety, and Environmental (HS&E) best practices, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
- Assign HSE responsibilities to site personnel, ensuring understanding and providing necessary training.
- Ensure subcontractors adhere to company procedures and processes.
- Develop and maintain site-specific environmental risk assessments and waste management plans.
- Liaise with external parties to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards.

Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that as-built documentation and Operation & Maintenance manuals are submitted to clients upon project completion.

Performance Metrics:
- Timely completion of contracts.
- Compliance with Business Unit Objectives.
- Effective management of subcontractors and suppliers.

Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing projects within the Civil and Water sectors and is expected to meet the following criteria:
- Strong understanding of contract conditions, CDM regulations, Design Management, Programme & Risk Management, and cost control practices.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 software or equivalent.
- Valid CSCS manager's card and SMSTS certification.
- Familiarity with NEC contracts, including Early Warning and Compensation Event mechanisms.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and team management skills, with the ability to influence and mentor effectively.
- Proven ability to manage and deliver projects with minimal oversight.
