Job Title: SR - Claims Admin

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Claims Administrator to join our team at Experis IT. As a Claims Administrator, you will be responsible for managing claims from receipt to resolution, ensuring accurate and timely processing of cash calls, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cash Calls:
  • Receive and acknowledge cash call requests, ensuring adequate backup documentation is in place.
  • Prepare and issue cash call letters, ensuring accuracy and currency conversions.
  • Book cash calls accurately on the AS400 system, including reversals of ROGIS duplicates.
  • Obtain necessary approvals for cash calls.
  • Monitor cash call status and clear bookings from the cash call table.
  • Identify receipts and forward them to issuing offices promptly.
  • Clear down balances from receivable and payable ledgers.
  • Chase uncollected cash call balances.
  • Collate and file documentation from issuing offices for accounts requiring backup.
  • Cash Allocation:
  • Review anticipated cash receipts and identify allocation requirements.
  • Act as the first point of contact with A&F for cash receipt identification.
  • Advise A&F on cash allocation.
  • Investigate queries on cash transactions.
  • Review uncleared balances on the cedant side of the ledger.
  • Obtain approval for payments to issuing offices and reinsurers.
  • Run client reports for audits and as needed.
  • Assist in chasing uncollected balances.
  • Loss Documentation:
  • Collate and file documentation from issuing offices for accounts requiring backup.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years' experience in a similar administrative role.
  • Previous claims or captive experience is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of the reinsurance or insurance industry is an asset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Windows-based applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Previous experience with AS400 is an advantage.
